As a leader in the community, Dakeita has been recognized for her accomplishments which include: 2015 Cabarrus Regional Chamber Citizen of the Year Award, 2015 American Red Cross All American Citizen Award and the 2016 Concord Rotary Club’s Rotarian of the Year. As a graduate of NC State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree, she continues to share her business expertise with young professionals and local organizations.

A dedicated volunteer in her community, Dakeita is a past president of Big Brothers Big Sisters, Concord Rotary Club and the Cabarrus Arts Council. As an active member at First Presbyterian Church of Concord, Dakeita has served as the moderator of the Diaconate and Presbyterian Women. She currently serves on the board of the Cabarrus Healthcare Foundation, WE Build Concord and the Rowan Cabarrus Community College Board of Trustees. Dakeita also serves on the board of the Miss North Carolina Scholarship Foundation.

The mother of 2 adult children and a feisty cat, Salem, Dakeita enjoys traveling, reading and volunteering in her community. Her love for Cabarrus County and North Carolina gives her the passionate edge crucial to creating a genuine buying or selling experience for her clients.
